Flashback to beautiful Jens wedding day at Webersburg Wine Estate

Re-post. This is just a quick re-post to help stress the importance of lashes! They frame your eyes and make such a difference to the pics! I use real hair individual lashes on my brides - they are not the extensions mind you ( contact me if you want an AH - MAZING i-lash artistes' number) so they only last for the Wedding day,  but they look incredible and will not damage or irritate your eyes at all! I still mascara your own lashes and lift them up of course, and then I literally just 'fill out' your own lashes with the individuals. We can go as full as you like or keep it soft n wispy.....

Taste Magazine Shoot at 'Sumiens loft'

Always a pleasure working with these ladies from Taste magazine and even better when my hair and makeup work makes the cover.

Leanne De Jesus - Vrede 'n Lust wine estate.

I really enjoyed working on Leanne because I  loved doing her hair! Leanne had her her down as you can see,  but it was kind of cascading into a point and then really loosely pinned and twisted.  From the pics  I can see that it also lasted throughout the night! So my pin curling and diffusing of the curls ( extra heat for staying power) worked! Woo hoo!

Lauren Tweedie @ Cape Point Vineyards

Firstly- I am horrific at updating this blog. Why? Well because I am lazy, and I get enough work anyway ...
um....also because I would much rather be painting faces, which is one of  my passions,  than sitting behind a computer...
I also battle to update my blog from my iPad so I end up posting all my pics on my Facebook page instead - yup! true story. Please also check out my Facebook page

That said - when your client tells you your blog is TERRIBLE then you know you have to do something about it!

I probably also need to STOP posting cell phone pics but this one of Lauren Tweedie below was just to gorgeous to not! Cell phone pics don't look as professional as PRO pics of course, however, sometimes the professional pictures are touched up quite a bit and then how can one see if the makeup artist is any good or not?
This pic of Lauren below was snapped with my Iphone and there is absolutely no re touches whatsoever! I promise to post the pro pics soon though! (he he he)
